Today we went out on to the playground for our math lesson and designed and measured the perimeter of shapes using a metre stick. First, we drew the shapes using chalk and then we worked out the perimeter.
The density of a range of liquids was investigated by the pupils in 5th and 6th class. They determined which liquids were the least and most dense and using this and some for colouring they formed a rainbow in a jar.
5th and 6th class undertook a 'blindfolded' smell test. They had use their sense of smell alone to figure out what the mystery products were in the covered containers.
