Christmas Pom-Pom Creatures

We finished off our Christmas treat activity today - Pom-Pom creatures! There was quite a lot of work involved in making them. We had to thread, pull, link, cut and tie all the pieces of wool to get their fluffy bellies right. Some of us ran over and back across the room to pull the thread through the centre; others did some dramatic gymnastics with the thread (we could probably qualify for Olympic Ribbon Dancing!); the rest of us got a lot of tricep and bicep stretching from our chairs.

We think they turned out wonderful, and we can't wait to hang them up at home! enjoy them in school for the last time today!
