Have a look at the story we made with Veronika about extinct Irish animals!
We have a lot of work at the moment - we are preparing 2nd Class for their First Holy Communion, so we were visiting the church to have a practice today. On the way out, we had a look at the lovely bluebells growing in the flowerbed.
We are also investigating recycling in our SESE lessons, so we went for a walk to look at some of the local recycling bins. We saw ones for clothes, glass and cans.
Have a listen to our body percussion thunderstorm. We were talking about An Aimsir in Gaeilge, and we wanted to make our own sounds!
We have a lovely Irish poem (ask us to say it for you some time!) and it mentions directions. Today we had a look at the directions on a compass. North is towards the front of the school, South is towards the secondary school, West is towards the Boys School and East is towards our neighbour's house!
We've been singing this song for a while now, and today we added in some crazy percussion! Have a listen!
