Junior Infants won the Class of the Term competition this term. We had a fun reward day. We made our own play-dough (from conditioner and cornflour), we made oobleck and loved playing with the kinetic sand too. We had a few treats, a class party and played a lot of party games!
Lots of fun dressed up in our costumes for World Book Day. We talked about some of our favourite books, including Ms. Gardiner's favourite "The Very Hungry Caterpillar". We made our very own caterpillars and took turns retelling the story together.
We had a busy few days in Junior Infants this week. We had pancakes with some of our favourite toppings on Tuesday. On Wednesday, we made cards for our friends and family for Valentine's Day. We also loved doing hip-hop dancing in the hall during the day! :)
Junior Infants were delighted to have Ms. McConn’s class visit us for St. Brigid’s Day. We learned about the story of St. Brigid and we were kindly shown how to make a St. Brigid’s cross.
Here are some pictures of the Junior Infants having lots of fun learning in their classroom.
Sorting, moving and grooving at a playdough disco and making healthy lunches with out playdough are just some of the activities we have been doing this month. |
