Further School Closure Due to Coronavirus Pandemic
We hope you are all keeping safe and well in these strange and challenging times.
Due to the most recent Government announcement, the school will remain closed in the coming weeks as part of their proposed measures to stop the spread of the Coronavirus.
Teachers have prepared some more work for the children for next week 30th March-3rd April. These schemes of work will be available on the website in the next day or two. Teachers have also prepared answer sheets for work given in the previous two weeks (16th-29th March). These can be made available to parents/children in older classes for self correction. Please e mail the school at firstname.lastname@example.org to access these answer sheets.
We are very aware that this is a very difficult and worrying time for you and your families and we do not wish to add any further pressure. We are also aware that many parents are working in front-line. services or from home Work schemes given are merely a guide and it is up to you the parents to decide how much of this work your children will complete. If your child is stuck or unsure please reassure that there is no pressure and that the teacher will go through this work with them at another time.
Work will not be allocated for the period of the Easter Holidays. We will re-assess the situation after Easter and prepare for further teaching and learning from home after that period if schools remain closed. We may consider using technology in the teaching and learning process but are very aware that not all our children has access to good broadband connection, laptops and other technology.
It would be very helpful if all parents could provide an e-mail address to the school. Please send this to email@example.com.
Please continue to practice social distancing and stay safe.
