The 5th and 6th class girls took part in the National Schools' Nations Rugby series 2023. The girls were assigned Ireland as their representative country and therefore dressed up in green, white and gold.
The girls took part in four games of tag rugby. The event was organised by Connacht rugby and the blitz was held in Corrib RFC. A great day out was had by everyone!

This month we made butter in 5th and 6th class. When cream is shaken, the fat molecules in the cream leave their normal position and clump together. After a while, all of the fat molecules cling together, forming a lump of butter and leaving the buttermilk behind. After all our hard work shaking the cream, we enjoyed some butter and crackers. Delicious!!
