As part of Headford town's bid for the European Capital of Culture - Galway 2020 the children in the class worked with their class teacher and Selma to plan, design, decorate and fill the bird boxes for the Nesting Lark Project. The boxes which contained historical artefacts and other items of local interest were displayed around the town of Headford. One fine day we went on a walkabout to check out all our hard work!! The children in 4th, 5th & 6th Classes were entrepreneurs for the week. They worked in groups to design a product and then they set up their own companies to market, develop and sell this product. They even had to pitch their product to the Dragons in the hope of getting an investment in exchange for the Dragon's investment in their company!  |
