Today all of the Junior Infants received a beautiful storybook called 'To the Island' written by Patricia Forde and illustrated by Nicola Bernadelli. Thank you to Galway Public Libraries for partnering with Galway 2020 and sending us such a lovely gift. We read the story in class today and were very happy when we got to bring our very own book home! We are delighted to welcome back all of our pupils in the senior classes. Today we celebrated St. Patricks day by dressing up in the irish colours. Happy St. Patrick's Day to everyone! On Friday 5th of March we celebrated World Book Day. Students dressed up as their favourite authors and characters from books they love. We also spent some extra time reading today to mark this special and very important day. |
