Congratulations to Kayleigh on her winning entry to Sustainable Headford's Streamscapes competiton! Kayleigh's artwork will be on display in the old café of Joyce's over the Headfest weekend.
The Junior and Senior Infants had great fun completing their art project called 'Our Planet'.
They worked very hard for a long time and did some fantastic work! It will be displayed somewhere in Headford during Headfest so make sure you go and see it! Today Glen (one of our lovely parents who works with Teagaisc) came to visit us. He taught us all about the trees, plants and animals that we might find in our local area. He was very impressed with the knowledge we already had about the local trees and plants! Then we went on a lovely scavenger hunt to see what we could find. Thank you Glen - we had a great time! Glen brought 2nd-6th class on a nature walk to Ross Abbey where we collected a LOT of different plant specimens!
A big congratulations to all the children and their families who made their First Holy Communion on Saturday. Thank you to everyone who contributed their time and hard work, especially the pupils who came to sing for the choir! It was a beautiful day.
