Here are the girls from 4th, 5th and 6th classes with their Power Hour certificates. Well done!!  At last we reached the final week of the senior classes Power Hour. This week we were working on Persuasive Texts, but despite how good we are at arguing our point, we can't persuade Power Hour to last any longer!  The penultimate week of senior Power Hour is here! We were working on the explanatory genre this week, and can tell you loads of information about the process of recycling, how to protect yourself in the sunshine and what a frog's life cycle entails. Ask us! We had such lovely weather outside today that some of the Senior Infants decided it was the perfect opportunity to do some litter picking. We used our new tabbards from An Taisce, as well as the great gloves they sent us. Kids from every class joined in, and our yard is looking spotless now! Click 'Read More' to see more of our photos!
