Thank you to everyone who supported our Hallowe'en Cake Sale today! There were so many delicious treats, it was hard to choose! Aoife and Katie treated the classes today and played some beautiful tunes on their violins. Aoife's mammy is an award winning violin player and Aoife is definitely following in her footsteps. Well done Katie and Aoife! We had two special visitors to the school today: Mary McHugh and Margie McNamara. They came to read some stories to all the classes to celebrate the end of our Book Fair week. We loved hearing the stories, and trying to figure out how they would end! Thank you, Mary and Margie!
A special thank you to Mrs Mary McHugh who kindly came to read some 'spooktacular' Halloween stories to the Junior, Senior and First class pupils. She even came in fancy dress in celebration of book week. Our favourite story was 'Witch on a Broom'. Thank you to all the families who supported our Book Fair evening this year! Happy reading! |
