We had such a lovely morning carol singing in the town. It was great to see our families and community out to support us. We have to say "thank you" to the two local businesses that supported us - Monaghan's Topaz and Supermacs, and Joyce's Supermarket. And we want to say an extra special THANK YOU and Merry Christmas to the staff at Monaghan's for surprising us with chips, sausages, drinks and sweets! It really made our day!

Aaaaaand that's the end of Power Hour for 2nd and 3rd classes! It's been so much fun over the last six weeks - and very busy! But, as you know, we are very hard workers and very smart pupils and we were fantastic. This week we did secret agent letters, crazy shared stories, Christmas puzzles and we read the final books of our current section. We are champions!

One of the activities we did this week was Blind Writing. We had to listen carefully to some dictation, and then write it out from memory - while blindfolded! It was very tricky, and we were very surprised by the results! Have a look in 'Read More;!
